Mother: You know if you have a name? Like John?
Me: Yes...
Mother: If you were saying "John's reading", is there an apostrophe?
Me (disbelieving): Yes...
Mother: Where?
Me:... are you serious? Do you actually not know this?
Mother: The computer usually tells me!
Did I mention that this woman is a teacher?
