I have spent the afternoon watching Wonders of the Solar System while sick in bed. Or rather, dozing while it was on in the background. Nice combination of period pains and toothache just knocked me out this afternoon. The Wonders DVD has been sitting on the floor at the top of the stairs (don't ask) for about a month and I finally decided a few hours in bed was the perfect time to watch it. Needless to say, I've taken in next to none of it. I'm not hugely receptive to astrophysics lectures while in massive pain but when I was awake enough to look at the screen, there was always a pretty picture on it.
Now half awake but still limp and headachey. Why do I have to have this pain every month? It's 2011! It should be eliminated by now!
